That's defamation.

Re: Butler Butts In On 1st Amendment – Internet Justice

"Apparently" is the operative word. As a student at this school, I assure you that she is leaving out a LOT of evidence in support of the university. Free speech is hardly the issue in this case, but libel and threatening emails sent anonymously to administrators. I don't think I'd like to attend a school that does not take every precaution in regards to safety, would you?

Re: Butler Butts In On 1st Amendment – Internet Justice

Where is your source of information for your statement that the university "is definitely to blame here"? Surely not this trash, I hope? As a student who attends this university, I assure you that a LOT of information is left out of this opinion piece.

Re: Butler Butts In On 1st Amendment – Internet Justice

Oh, ruffling some feathers, I see. Butler is ruining its good name by chilling free speech on campus. Strange to hear about a university so trapped in fear... and apparently hell-bent on ruining this kid. Perhaps the students at Butler can turn the table by supporting the blogger at the on-campus trial.
